The Museum is now closed for the season, but this gives our volunteers time to do the thousand and one maintenance tasks needed for our building and the collections as well as preparing for next year's displays. We re-open on Monday March 27th 2017 - look out for news of our exciting new exhibition 'William Cookworthy: Pioneer of Porcelain'.
The Museum is run by an independent charitable trust, and its operations are not funded by national nor local authority. It therefore has to make a charge for admission and services.
Admission to the Museum in 2016 is £3.00 for adults and £2.50 for concessions. FREE ADMISSION for children under 16.
The Museum galleries are open Monday to Saturday in season, 10.30am to 5.00pm (4.00pm in October).
The Resource Centre is open Monday to Thursday 10.00am to 12.00 noon and until 3.00pm on Wednesdays, except for the Christmas period. Other times can be arranged by appointment.
