Opening Hours

The Museum galleries are open Monday to Saturday in season, 10.30am to 5.00pm (4.00pm in October).

The Resource Centre is open Monday to Thursday 10.00am to 12.00 noon and until 3.00pm on Wednesdays, except for the Christmas period. Other times can be arranged by appointment.

Directions to the museum and local map

Parking: from August 2017 the charges in the Fore Street car park have been reduced to £1.00 for three hours, which gives you time to explore the top of the town AND visit the museum.
