The Museum is now open for the 2011 season, with new exhibitions as well as many of the old favourites. The Resource Room is available for family or local history research, with extended hours this year.
... is located up from the Duncombe Room.

This room is named after Thomas Crispin, the founder of the Grammar School. It previously housed memorabilia concerning the history of the Old Grammar School, but in 2011 it will be used for Museum 'work in progress' - object audit and photography, demonstrations and activities. Check to see if the room is open when you are visiting - if there is something interesting going on, the notice at the bottom of the stairs will invite you to come up and look.
