The Museum is now open for the 2011 season, with new exhibitions as well as many of the old favourites. The Resource Room is available for family or local history research, with extended hours this year.
Virtual Tour - The Viewing Gallery
The Viewing Gallery
... is located on the ground floor near the building entrance.
It provides a comfortable seated area with screening facilities for DVD. It normally shows the Museum virtual tour, although a wider menu of subjects is planned for the 2011 season including a new farming presentation. This is intended for visitors with restricted mobility who may not be able to undertake a full tour of the Museum.
The facilities were funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
