The Museum's main galleries are closed for the winter, but work on the collections goes on all year round, together with preparations for next season and new exhibitions.

30th March 2009 - Museum re-opens for the 2009 season
New exhibitions for 2009 include 'Happy Families', an exploration of local family life, and a new photographic exhibition in the Duncombe Gallery.
Special Events 2009
Dates for special events will be published early in 2009.
31st October 2009 - Museum End of Season
The main galleries close for the winter, but the Resource Centre remains open for personal research.
