The Museum is now open for the summer season, with new exhibitions as well as many of the old favourites.

 

'If you don't like the weather - wait a minute'. Visit our new display 'Come Rain or Shine', with its weather timeline and garments for all seasons, and find out more about that well-worn conversational subject, the English weather.

 

 

 

 

 

What's On

 
Museum in the Market Hall

Thursday 15th and Friday 16th July, Market Hall, Kingsbridge. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day, admission free.

Come in and sample some of the Museum's exhibitions, including Canadian 'Thank You' quilts, the Story of Kingsbridge in 50 Objects, South Hams at War, and Photographs Galore from the Cookworthy Collection. Also Craft Demonstrations, Refreshments, Museum shop.


 Special Day

Thursday 12th August at the Museum, 10.30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission: adults £1, children FREE

Children's activities and craft demonstrations in the Museum and walled garden. Special guest: Old Fairweather the Storyteller. Refreshments, lunch, Museum shop.


 30th October 2010 - Museum End of Season

The main galleries close for the winter, but the Resource Centre remains open for personal research.
